THE CHALLENGE
- Multiple feed streams with high salts and variable quality due to seasonal changes
- Maintain process robustness in an ageing plant where operational flexibility is critical
THE ASK
To provide full operations of the mine’s water treatment
plant, consisting of ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis
(RO) and remineralisation.
Due to the critical nature of the facility, PROXA has
been assigned responsibility for the full preventative
maintenance on the infrastructure which includes a suite
of process pumps, instrumentation, tanks, and ancillary
equipment, such as chemical dosing systems.
